The Arc of Bay County is dedication to serving
men, women, and children with differing abilities so that they may,
as true citizens, celebrate life, freedom, and independence in their
own communities.

The
Arc of Bay believes that all people with intellectual and developmental
disabilities have strengths, abilities, and inherent value, and
must be treated with dignity and respect.
2 Democracy
The Arc of Bay County utilizes a democratic process involving
members to take position on important issues, policies and
programs affecting people with intellectual and developmental
disabilities.
3 Leadership The
Arc of Bay County leads by promoting their mission, core values,
and position statements. We lead with integrity,
accountability, and by honest and timely communication. We
work with individuals, organizations, and coalitions in a
collaborative fashion. There is a valued partnership with
volunteer and staff leadership at all levels of the organization
that provides mutual support for their respective roles.
4 Community Participation
The Arc of Bay County works toward and believes in the community
imperative that all people have the fundamental, moral, civil,
and continual right to learn, live, work, play, and worship in
safe healthy communities of their choosing.
